Hello hello hello!!! So I am super excited to be FINALLY writing on here! I think this may be the new form of communication over emails. We are hopefully going to be able to post lots of pictures here as well! Soo...if you missed all of our other emails we have sent out - sorry! I will attach some random photos - photos of our place, some of our first experiences, etc. This first photo is of Matt and I in the Toronto airport waiting to take off to Beijing! Yes, we look tired, but we are also very excited!!
Another cool moment: This is me with my first ever Bank of China account card! It even has the Great Wall on it. :)
Okay, so I am not so good at posting pictures yet! The following two pictures are taken at IKEA. You really had to be there to experience it, but people really LIVE on the furniture! I`m pretty sure every bed and couch was taken up!!
This photo just makes me laugh! Matt and I were on our way to Decathlon ( a sporting goods store) and his hair was pretty awesome! He has since gotten a hair cut. :)
As already mentioned, Matt and I got the opportunity to be a part of my T.A.`s father-in-laws`s birthday. It was a really cool "Chinese" experience. Everyone wanted to get their photo taken with us, it was really funny! We first went to Anna's husband's flower shop. She gave us some flowers for our home and office.
The kids were really cute, and we definitely ate some interesting food! I didn't even know I had ate pigeon until it was finished.
